FlowHow UK Director Retires
John Gosden, retired director of FlowHow UK.

The recent retirement of FlowHow UK director John Gosden marks the end of a 43-year career in the injection moulding industry. For the last 21 of those years, Gosden was involved exclusively in the use of computer-aided engineering (CAE) analysis software for plastics injection.
Following 19 years spent performing a variety of design and technical management roles for several companies, Gosden in 1982 became a UK pioneer in the industrial use of flow simulation while a consultant employed at Yarsley Technical Centre. The technology had just been launched in the UK by Moldflow. The establishment of a close working relationship between Gosden and Moldflow culminated in Gosden joining the company in 1985.
Gosden set up FlowHow UK in 2002 as a branch of FlowHow ApS. At that time, he became the UK representative for Moldex3D simulation software from CoreTech System Co. Ltd. of Taiwan. He retains a link with the FlowHow group of companies, making his experience available through a consultancy role.
FlowHow UK is now being run by Peer Guldbrandsen, who had been responsible for the rapid increase in the number of users of Moldex3D flow simulation software products in Scandinavia. The company distributes Moldex3D in the UK and Ireland. Besides operating as a sales and support organization for its Danish parent company, FlowHow UK offers regional consulting services similar to those available in Scandinavia. The emphasis is on providing practical, cost-effective solutions to industrial problems through a combination of advanced software and in-depth plastics industry experience.
